Following my request, Surrey County Council will shortly be resurfacing Acacia Avenue in Barnsbury.

This small but well used road is in an awful state, which is why I requested it be resurfaced as soon as possible.  Thankfully, the Council agreed and Acacia Avenue will be resurfaced on Wednesday 13th May.  The road will be closed from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm, with traffic diverted via Almond Avenue.

With roads very quiet during the coronavirus lockdown, it is an ideal time to make repairs or resurface roads.  However, social distancing practices still have to be followed – so although roads are quieter, is it more difficult for the work to be done.
