Surrey County Council is due to start construction of a pedestrian crossing on Vicarage Road in Kingfield on Monday 18th March.
The County Council is building the Vicarage Road crossing to cater for the growing number of pedestrians travelling between the new Kingsmoor Park development off Balfour Avenue and the schools and shops in the Kingfield area.
So over the next few weeks, the Council and their contractors will be busy on Vicarage Road installing a pedestrian crossing, widening the pavement on the northern side of the pavement, moving one of the bus stops and resurfacing the road.
